Union of Opposites is a husband and wife partnership, Robert Fenton and Kelly Yates. Their techniques and influences are as different as their personalities, but the result is a happy marriage between natural and organic shapes and strong architecturally inspired lines and forms. Their finished pieces which utilize silver, porcelain, enamel and precious metal clay, manage to seem fresh and modern and simultaneously traditional.

The partnership comprises of opposing techniques and influences. On one hand, natural, organic and traditional. On the other, strong architecturally inspired lines and forms. Together both jewellers use a wide range of traditional and modern materials and techniques. These techniques utilize Stone setting, silver, gold, porcelain and precious metal clay.
